Loran,
I would be perfectly happy for Azhur to be the bearer of our Guardian if
that is how things work out. Someone will usually have greater contact
with a hero band's guardian than the others and I have no problem with
it being your character. Whether that fits in with your character
concept is more the question.
If we are happy to go along with this then I would think the best way
would be to find some spot significant to Talor and to perform a
heroquest there. Whether the guardian we end up with is the banner or
something else will then come out of play rather than an OOC
conversation - which is how I would prefer it.
So that would leave us with trying to come up with a story of St Talor
and how he found some form of guidance or inspiration - preferably
whilst on his travels as that is what we will be doing.
Or am I wildly off-beam here?
