If it becomes a matter of needing helping hands, Baros can also speak 
with beavers. Unless Icthya is willing to sacrifice a few tasty trees he 
might struggle to seduce them to the cause.

Am I missing the point here? As we are in an elf forest and there are 
friendly Aldryami around I am struggling to see why it would be a 
challenge to find any but the rarest of plants. It seems to be on a par 
with seeking out domestic implements in the midst of a human town, the 
only real question is if you have enough wealth or good enough 
relationships to obtain what you want.
