There isn't too many beavers around, except for those
the Aldryami themselves may have brought; remember
this forest has only just been formed. Whilst any
wildlife in the region has made it here, it is still
pretty sparse.

True enough, the many and various runners etc could
fine the various seeds, but they would have to act
quickly and to the exclusion of all else.
