  What I would suggest is to remember it is an iterative process. Take your
narrative and underline what you think becomes abilties. Then look at the
bits without underlining and rewrite those. The long bits of underlining you
may want to shorten. I tend to find I can get 20 or more abilities out of a
narrative, which is a form of min-maxing. (In my defence, I usually fall
short of 100 words.) Here´s an example in case it helps. If you look at it I
think you´ll see an ability every few words.

  I´m not suggesting you do it like that, but this might help with the
process?

  If you want to repost your narrative I might be able to have a stab at
tightening it up (if you want) or ripping abilities out.
