[HQ Ignorance] Scene 37: Invasion in the Borderwoods

Icthya looked with alarm at the messenger. She hadn't given too much import
to the fact that Nolos hadn't vowed to respect the sanctity of the new
forest but now it seemed that everything was going to come burning down
around her ears.

Hoping that Kalen would succeed in his mission, she begged the Priestess to
tend him when he emerged from the city. If he didn't emerge, she reasoned to
herself, the only hope was to look to the rest of the Fellowship to rescue
him. And if Wilkairtha was in the forest now, the Fellowship must surely not
be far off.

Begging leave of the Priestess, and a pair of runners to accompany her,
Icthya took herself to a stream and bathed in its waters, seeking to purify
herself. Taking some of the water in a gourd, she set off southwards, hoping
to discover what was happening. Knowing very little about the not dead but
to fear them, she cloaked herself in her new magics, principal among these
the charm to hide herself from prying minds. Just before this, she tried to
communicate to the banner her intent.

OOC: Bah humbug. I don't see that Icthya either knows that Kalen has been
nabbed or can do much about it for now. So...
She's going to look for the undeadfirst and foremost, trying to remain a
mysterious presence to the werewolves rather than necessarily reveal
herself. That make any sense at all?
