Folks - I´m snowed under and off for a long weekend, returning to a
s*&%load (that's shed) of teaching and proposal writing next week.

But, in case it helps, Icthya intends to weave a weird political thing
together wherein she plants a forest all around where King Thingy as a
sorta siege. The elves she is talking to help maintain the siege. She
gets in touch with Kalen and they go in on a commando raid to zap the
king (maybe the Syran laser thingy is to breach the wall) and bring out
his head. They take this to his army who promptly give up and dissipate.
The war doesn´t actually happen, saving loads of lives (that´s how she
gets Azhur and that on board). The warring parties (Nolos, Syran etc)
agree that the new forest is sacrosanct and needs to be protected.

The Kanthor elves are very pleased by all of this so they and the beasts
agree to help the Fellowship "help" Christopher Walken.

That´d be a simple contest, right? ;-)

Composing the above as proper text would/will take loads of time, but
there´s the gist in case I´m slowing things down. Of course part of
it is speeded up as soon as Icthya meets the wolf spirit.
