Hmmmm...
Perhaps Azhur can train his convincing skills a little with Karala...
"Please Karala see it as a way to change enemies into allies..."
Some points to consider for the obvious and immediate interest of hunshen peoples:
1. Having people of Segurane converted will help to stop the war with elves, helping the elves to concentrate their forces against Theoblanc's vampire followers. I can't think that Karala support Theoblanc's initiatives?
2.It will also help to gain an immediate ally (or at least a diversion) for the telmori in their war against undead army. Does Karala prefer them going alone to war and suffer more loss?
2. Hrestoli men consider women as equal, which is much better than Rokari who see them as an subordinated caste (see the second argument of the HQ) and as a woman, Karala should be sensible to women conditions, no?
3. Karala is part of the fellowship, solidarity or at least interests bargain, may apply, no?
[OOC]
4. We play together, no? The beast became a trollkin, Kalen lost his best friend and Azhur lost his precious faith... why? To save Karala from telmori crazy murderers... Does the words "moral debt" means something for Karala ?
I hope you will help us to integrate better the primitive ways of Hunshen into the fellowship. It is up to you because I don't see why civilized people will have to take a such initiative (exactly for the same reasons you exposed), but Azhur will gladly push then for integration (because equality credo).
Some friendly food for thought

OOC: ok, Karala is along for the ride & is happy to help out however
she can. However, although she has skills useful for persuading
people (Inspire Others, Charismatic Presence etc) I can't help
thinking that being both a primative heathen and a woman would ofset
any advantages she could bring to the table here. She absolutely does
not (& does not want to) understand the purpose of this Hero Quest...
How is Thaneora doing? Are the Telmori hidden / protected and ready
to strike at dawn? IIf Segurine is about to fall they will attack
earlier - Karala can contact Thaneora and Wilkairtha using her
Reindeer Spirit...
