- “I understand your concern Jareena, answered Azhur sincerely.
For a moment the loskalmi noble sorted his thoughts, before continuing:
- “But do you have a plan for action? The Luatha told us that other Heros will be battling over this matter and Nauticles told us about a rebel iron ring ready for an up raising. Are you thinking about joining them? This will mean years of war against a mighty empire? What would be the benefice for your people if after years of fight, you succeed and come back at home to offer your liberated gods to a population laying dead in the grave of submitted in slavery to the Kingdom of War?”
He smiled with compassion to the passionate pagan woman.
- “I think the idea of Icthya is the best choice for you. For the moment we don’t have any clue on what could influence this war. Keep your revolt low deep inside of you and let’s travel through Dragon Pass and the Lunar Empire. You will learn from both. Then we will travel through the pentian tribes which are notorious enemies of the pelorian lands. You will learn more. If you join the rebels now you will just add one voice to the multitude, but if you travel with us, you will accumulate a precious knowledge that could appear to be crucial in the future for the leaders of your cause. If we want to save our people from the Kingdom of War, our mission have to be conducted as fast as possible and will be then probably finished before the end of this divine clash between the Storm and the Red Moon. Taking the problem the other way round may just make you miss both targets.”
With less assurance, he finaly added :
- “And I’m not really sure that any god can be killed if somewhere a free people remain to pray him… So protecting your land could just be the best way to make your gods survive until some metaphysical liberation…”

"Aye, the peace of Death!" says Jareena. "Azhur, I do not know what the others may do, but for me this quest will have no purpose if the God and Goddess of my people is slain!"
