The trollkin listen attentively to Aalmon's words, as they are served by
silent trolls all about them. They seem completely absorbed by the
words, but Aalmon notices that when he pauses the expression upon many
do not change. At first he does not know what to make of this; but then
he has vague recollection [Assess Social Standing 17] of the attentive
looks of shopkeepers on a passing noble procession. To be sure, some of
the trollkin are paying attention to the story, The Fourth, in
particular. But most are simply paying attention to him.

At last when he finishes, there is a an uncomfortable pause. Finally,
The Fourth cocks his head to one side. "Hmmm.. Man of moon good story
tell. But what this say of his soul?"

"What will Aalmon do when he has Sword?"

"Will he become like Nysalor or Gbaji or Arkat?"

"Will he fight the Kingdom of War or join it? Will he join it by
fighting it?"

"What colour is your Moon? What will the wolf howl to?"
