[HQ Ignorance] Elvishness and rootlessness

My thoughts are the same as the last post I made on
the subject i.e.,
- - -
OK, my ruling is that the generic -10 is part
physical, part psychological. Your character could
have received specialist training (i.e., an ability
and probably at least 1W1) to get rid of the
psychological aspect, and you'll probably need some
magic (of similar level) to get rid of the physical
aspect (with the sort of side effect you've
described).
This said, there will be parts of the story where an
Aldryami is going to be *required* (not giving too
much away here...)
- - -
So not a especially bred elf, but an especially
trained one. Not a rootless elf, either (although if
you want to be one of those).
Also the generic -10 will vary according to the
circumstances. I take the -10 to represent cities and
deserts (effectively the same to an Elf), -5 for those
distriburing monoculture fields and pastures and no
penalty (just discomfort) for light woods.
All the best,
Lev
